I am passionate about natural health and wellbeing and have had the privilege of helping many women restore their health and wellbeing through nutrition, food intolerance IgG blood testing, restoring gut health, supporting hormonal health and often bringing in other therapies such as reflexology, acupuncture or the emotion code etc.

As a registered and certified Nutritionist (FNTP 104823249), with additional training, education and clinical practice in women’s hormonal health, in particular the Perimenopause and Menopause, and the Gut Microbiome, I work with women to balance their digestion and hormones through nutrition, lifestyle, education,, knowledge and empowerment.

I would love to work with you to improve your overall health and well-being and provide both in-clinic, and online appointments, to help you live a happier and healthier life.

During your first appointment we look in detail at your symptoms, from the previously completed health assessment which I will email over to you prior to your appointment, and carry out a full health check which includes cholesterol, blood glucose levels, blood pressure and pulse.  Together we work to gain a deeper understanding of what has been going on for you so that we can plan the best way forward, at your pace, to improve your health and vitality.

A follow up appointment will be booked between 4 to 6 weeks depending on your circumstances where we will review your progress and re-assess your symptoms.  A health check is included as part of you first consultation and includes your:  blood pressure, pulse, cholesterol and blood glucose levels.

Medical Form

From time to time, as part of a treatment plan, nutritional health supplements maybe recommended in certain cases. I am very particular about who I work with as many companies use fillers, binders and bulking or caking agents within their ranges. I have worked with Cytoplan for a number of years and I trust their products and ethos.

Cytoplan is British owned and independent and are wholly owned by a charitable foundation so are not constrained by the typical commercial pressures for profit. They provide a unique range of supplements comprising Food State™ and Wholefood vitamins and minerals which means they are supplied as nature intended.

When purchasing an of the Cytoplan range you can benefit for 30% off your first order and 10% of all subsequent orders by using the below code at checkout.

Please note that if you are a drug user for recreational use or self medicating (excluding prescribed medications), or struggle with alcohol, then I am unable to offer a consultation.

Food Intolerance Blood Test

£88.00 - results within 60 mins / £10.00 off  when booked within a nutrition appt.

The Food Intolerance / Food Sensitivity test is an in-clinic test that measures IgG antibodies to 59 specific foods and provides results within 60 minutes. The test can identify potential "problem foods" for the individual, as elevated IgG antibodies may be linked to inflammatory conditions within the body, manifesting in a range of health issues.  Foods tested include; gluten, yeast, milk, eggs, nuts and fish.  I required a few drops of blood from a finger prick test, the results are ready with just 60 minutes)

Hair Mineral Analysis Testing

£89.00 - Results within 3 weeks

The Hair Mineral Analysis Test is an non-invasive and accurate way to look into how mineral imbalances can affect your stress and energy levels, and to help you find the balance that's right for you.  Did you know that nutrient minerals, which we need for optimum health, are only obtained from food, drink and dietary supplements as we are unable to make our own, therefore a diet rich in these nutrients is vital for health longevity.

Why test hair and not blood?

* Hair is invaluable in the assessment of toxic metal levels. (Recommended by the EPA)

* Unlike blood, hair is less susceptible to reactive homeostatic mechanisms that affect trace element levels.

* Long-term deviations of mineral retention or losses are more easily detected in hair than blood.

* Concentrations of most elements in the hair are significantly higher than blood and other tissues.

* Hair provides a record of past as well as present trace element levels, i.e. biological activity.

*Hair provides information of substances entering from the blood serum and external sources.

The Test

To carry out the test a small amount of your hair (from your head or beard), is needed to send off to the laboratory in Texas, USA, where the hair is tested for its mineral and toxic metal storage levels. The laboratory uses the most advanced and sophisticated testing equipment available today and you will receive a full report following your results.

I am able to test most hair, including hair which is coloured and which has been shampooed, but I am unable to test hair which has been heavily bleached, hair which has used black hair dye (due to lead content) or washed with dandruff shampoo this is because the results may be impacted.
